All DUI offenders are required to attend DUI School, have a clinical evaluation, and complete any treatment recommended by the evaluator. DUI Clinical Evaluation’s are conducted by a Clinical Evaluator expressly authorized by the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD). The clinical evaluator is specifically skilled to deal with DUI situations, and must observe various policies, complete official paperwork, and report evaluations to the DBHDD.
A Clinical Evaluation is not the same as a typical Substance Abuse Evaluation. There are a restricted number of approved Clinical Evaluators permitted to conduct this evaluation. C and T Counseling has a registered Clinical Evaluator (CE) on staff so you know the evaluation offered to you is approved and will be accepted when it comes time to pursue driver’s license reinstatement. Undergoing a Clinical Evaluation is a great steppingstone to conquering various substance abuse concerns you might have.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for health care items and services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing.
You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
